ABOUT ME I obtained my BS degree in 2004 and defensed my PhD dissertation in 2008, both in National Taiwan University. My PhD advisor is Prof. Homer H. Chen. My research interests include image/video processing, computer vision, and multimedia hardware architecture. I will serve the military from Oct. 2009 to Sept. 2010 (as a citizen's obligation). From Sept. to Oct. I am a visiting researcher at Communications and Multimedia Laboratory under Prof. Winston Hsu and Prof. Yung-Yu Chuang.

Working with hardware people is a wonderful experience :). They initialize the problem, I deliver the algorithms (on GPU and GPU), and they do the rest (a REAL chip!). My contributions are presented in [CVPR'09]. The chip-level design and anaysis are given in [ICASSP'09] and future publications. |
